The boarder has moved out and now the renovation can begin! I began by cleaning... and cleaning... and cleaning... ... Well, you get the idea. Four years of dirt - ICK!!! I need some support ;-) Now for some patch painting What's under this carpet??? The painting begins in earnest. Now where did I put the paint can? You lost the what??? Yup... It was in the closet, thanks Keara! Finally, I get to tear up this crusty old carpet!!! OK, so now I have to make all these little blocks of wood to "shim" the edge of my new "floating" floor. Hmmm... Now to stick the shims in place, a little construction adhesive. Opps, just about forgot to route the new network cable through the base board. Now to patch that nasty gouge in the base board.
